Kansas engagement ring laws

Kansas engagement ring laws follows the precedent set by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court in 1999. This ruling established the basis for the no fault approach to engagement gifts. Basically this means that regardless of who broke the engagement the ring or other property given in anticipation of a marriage should be returned to the giver. This is very similar to the no-fault approach taken in some states when disputing divorce law. For more detailed information consult a qualified family law attorney in your state.
